It has been a pretty long day, and a day in which I have worked really less. Its hard to believe that it has been 2 years since I started working. Everything seems to have started just a few days back.
I am happy about one thing that I will be free of any commitment from tomorrow onwards. In fact I never thought of this as a commitment in first place. What else would you say or think when you have no clear idea on what has to be done future. During these two years, I have started realising my true value and I feel that I am aligning my life and career together now. I feel it is pretty hard for one to understand what exactly is expected from him unless clear hints are given to him by his superiors. But as the saying goes, If everything had gone as I had wanted what thrill is there to live this life. Well that's all about this now.
Its been a quite happening day today. First of all, being the first day of the month one had to be immerse oneself with economics part. Then there was Karkida Vaavu, which unfortunately was known to me only bit late. Another big news was the gala release of Kuselan, which I think would not be liked by Tamil audience as it isn't the typical Superstar Film. Then came IAEA's all clear signal for India's Nuclear safeguard agreement, which I think has vindicated PM Manmohan Singh for all the Hulla-Gulla. And of course how can I leave out the dismal performance of Indian batting lineup (well its not a big story though) against SriLankan's (In particular Ajantha Mendis). Well August is really started on the right note I would say. Lots more expected in the coming days. I just hope there is something positive for Indians in the coming days. Sadly there has been nothing worth noting in the sports front these days as another Indian contingent is going to start its attempt to hog the Olympic limelight. It would be great if some of the guys get some medals, particularly the Golden one.
I am still wondering why some poet didn't come up with the verse "August is the cruelest month" even before Eliot handed the title to April. Well there is always some room for something innovative, even though you can still argue that I am copying words of some one else.
