How students change

I still remember those days when teachers used to appoint class leaders to make a note of students who talk in the class when she/he moves away from class after getting a quick call from office or somewhere. Well, those were the days when students had a sincere respect and fear for the teacher. And I believe, even when I completed my college education nearly 3 years back, students never were rude to a lecturer/teacher while she was taking a quite boring class.

Lack of interest/sleeping is understandable, but walking out just like that and getting in after 2-3 minutes of Get-up from sleep in the class, well its bit hard to digest. And people over here have the big reason-"We are not secondary standard kids man", but whats the big deal. Every student should have some basic character and ethics. Speaking of this, I have always heard my teachers complain the same about the current lot of students. Now Is this trend happening throughout India? Aren't Gen-Next not educated about basic courtesies and ethics? The pillars of any civilization are these basic traits in its people and I am really sad if my civilization is going to be stamped this way. Freedom is necessary for every individual but there should be someone who tells them when they are crossing the fine line of boundary between freedom and arrogance.
